Tony Hardy is an qualified energy rating assessor (NatHERS) and has knowledge working in the building industry. This means your project will be assessed on more than just the energy rating software, keeping design, livability and comfort in mind.
My ethos is to help you achieve more than just the governed energy rating. Therefore, care about the home’s livability, comfort level and final energy savings are kept in mind as well.
I believe that buildings of the future should aim for the highest efficiency possible, with the goal in years to come being a 10-star rating; net-zero carbon use and generation of more energy than is consumed.
I created my business because I care for the planet and want to help others do the same by enabling the creation of homes that use less energy and are comfortable to live in. Currently, many of the homes in Australia are only rated approximately 2 stars and will benefit from being upgraded to a higher energy rating. In fact, some countries now mandate that homes are rated when being bought or sold.
Founder, Tony Hardy, has been committed to sustainable living, & environmental responsibility since the early 90’s. He has been involved in building Sustainable Housing for a number of years & currently lives in a home he designed & built to be almost completely “Off Grid”, in suburban Camberwell! Including not using gas and reducing electricity bills to almost zero without battery storage.
